Mag rotating???

I don't think it is anything you have to worry about. It might take 10 minutes off the life of a mag. I go shooting every few weeks and whatever magazine ends up in my gun is the one I use until the next time I shoot. Sometimes I am sure it is the same and most times it is not. I don't bother to check.

Mine get rotated about once a month or so when I go to the range, because I always shoot what was loaded in the magazine and backup magazine.
When I get home, the magazines get cleaned, and reloaded. As to which one gets inserted in the Glock, I don’t keep track, but both magazines get a fresh load of defense ammo.

While I don’t believe rumors that they ware out if the spring is not allowed to expand frequently, I would believe that they should be allowed to expand from time to time.

I don't unload my mags for the sake of the spring, but I do unload them to clean my bullets. Call me silly...but my firearm won't fail because of dirty, grimy bullets!

The gun that you cc, do you rotate your mag every few days or so? The reason I ask is I have heard that you should take your ammo out of your mag every few days and rotate to another mag because the spring will get weak faster if you keep it loaded for long periods.
Just wanted your thoughts on this....thanks!

My Uncle had a old Smith and Wesson model 39 he left his single stack 9mm loaded for many years(+10) and never had a problem.

I only rotate now when i think of it. I used to have a schedule but sometimes i forget. I have 17 15 round factory mags that i change with the pic dosn't have the one in my pistol in it.

I rotate my mags and carry ammo whenever I think about it, and that's not very often.
