This is a discussion on I'm back from the mountains (pics inside) within the Concealed Carry Issues & Discussions forums, part of the Defensive Carry Discussions category; Wow, nice pictures. Looks like the leaves are just at their peak. Here in Colorado, at 7,000-8,000 feet the leaves are all gone....

I am originally from the other side of the mountains in East Tennessee and my dad was born in Asheville, NC. Those are fantastic photos and make me somewhat homesick for the mountains. Glad you had a great time.

Beautiful pics. Thanks for sharing. Makes living in MI pretty boring.

Great pictures. I will have to make a trip there whenever I get back to NC.

My wife and I have been to that area and have wonderful memories of our time there. It is breathtakingly beautiful. Thanks for the memories.

After 7 months in Iraq I will be in the mountains above Gatlinburg over Thanksgiving. I really miss hills, trees.......COLOR!!!!! Everything here is a shade of tan.

Once back I'll post some pictures as well.

    Thanks for the pictures.

FWIIW -- We have a bit more/darker reds here along the Va section than we have had for the past few years.

Next year we'll be able to carry -- assuming no new law.

I ask myself that every day. Pics like these don't help.

I am certainly glad my wife doesn't look at these forums. If she saw those gorgeous places we would be looking for a place to live there....and I am a die hard Texas boy!!!

    Thanks for sharing.
It’s so much easier now days, to "Love and honor" my wife, when she is armed, and shoots a better group than I do. (Till death do us part, eh?)
