Today, my dad and I went out to Sportco for him to purchase a couple boxes of .40 range ammunition. He let me carry his Sig P232.

    Cheers!!!!!!!!!!!
My permit took forever for me to receive, 5 months.
I had to call Florida and see what the hold up was. It turns out that my permit was just sitting there, they could not explain the reason. It was sent soon after that phone call.
I tell you I was nervous at first, but I just put myself in the ZONE by knowing that I put my finger on the trigger only to shoot!!

It seems the masses are getting their carry permits in large numbers.I live in
the Capital city of Maine and we have a population of about 18,500.I went to
get my renewal forms for my new license which expires in April 2010 along
with my wife's ccw.I'll be footing my son's first license. It seems Augusta is
averaging 150 requests for ccw a month. That's incredible we almost at 10%
of our citizens carry ! The chief hired an officer to process permit request and
the turn over is now 30 days or less.Four years ago I went 85-93 days.Nice
    change !
