I see the NRA store has a lot of concealed carry outerwear they sell on their online store. Jackets & vests, etc. Has anyone bought any? Tried any? Reviews?

Isn't most of it marked NRA ? you might as well wear a sign
Not the concealed stuff - it's all plain-jane looking
They put out a lot of good looking merchandize but if you do a little searching you can find the same or similiar products for a lot less money.
Its a shame that youth is wasted on the young.
I've never found it necessary to buy specialized "concealed" clothing. I'll get a size larger sometimes for an outer garment but that's all.![]()
ALWAYS carry! - NEVER tell!

Unless you are referring to a cover garment, vests and shirts with pockets for carrying a firearm are useless.IMHO
Nothing but a holster for me, with a print shirt (no logo's) as a cover garment.![]()

Bingo!!!! This is pretty much a marketing ploy!! Maybe people new to CC will jump for this stuff, but once you have been carrying for awhile you discover that you can shop in the same places you use to shop in you just have to wear them differently. This time of year flannel shirts work great for CC, at least for me, and I don't mean CC Flannel shirts, I mean plain old regular WalMart Flannel shirts, imagine that. I haven't been made yet, and it's been almost 14 years.

I agree...The only vests I own are Carhartt and they get worn when it's cool, it's usually not cold enough for a coat or jacket around here... Other than that it's t-shirts and Hawaiian shirts...

The real benefit of buying from NRA is to support their PAC. Each purchase uses at least some profit if not all to support the fight. I wouldn't buy all my CC gear from them, but I do buy from them occasionally.![]()
I have no need to buy specialty clothing, sweat shirts when cool, jacket when cold, T shirt for hot weather. Spend the money on ammo.

Advice is seldom welcome; and those who want it the most always like it the least.

I haven't bought any NRA CCwear per se, but I have bought 5.11 shorts from the NRA Store because the price was much cheaper than the local items I had been buying, plus I got a free folding knife with one order. The shorts have nothing related to CC except a narrow pocket for a spare magazine, which I use for my cell phone. There is a strap on the back (which has no function I've been able to fathom) with the NRA logo on it, but the logo is always covered by my shirt, vest, or jacket.
If you find a good deal there for something you need, why not take advantage?

Don't be fooled by the NRA hype, they have sold gun owners out on several occassions. I cut up my life membership and sent it back to them years ago, can't believe they still call a couple times a year!! Join your local Grass Roots organization, they are doing more for us than the NRA ever did or will. Sorry to chase a rabbit, back on topic and I don't mean to turn this into a NRA thread.

Clothing - probably not. Maybe a hat. There are a few NRA logo items I personally would like under the tree this year.
Firearm record book, cleaning mats are nice, the range bags and pistol cases they have are a good deal, stuff like that.
I support my local (AZCDL) organization more but you can't discount the big dogs, even if you don't agree with them all the time, believe me I don't.

A larger shirt works for me usually. There is no need for me to buy "special" clothes for carry. I blend in pretty well when I do conceal.
