    Choose your evil.

CC and IF you get caught, loose your job.

CC and IF something does happen you will be alive.

Don't CC, don't worry about losing your job, keep your SA, and IF something happens, stay low and vacate the area.

That seems a little unsafe to me. Having handcuffs imples the ability to arrest, or at least detain (depending on state law). Given the general hazards of taking someone into custody, I wouldn't want to do it unarmed. I know, its not supposed to make sense, its policy.

I worked in LP at Best Buy for a while as a part-time job. We didn't even have handcuffs, but at the same time we were not allowed by policy to use any sort of physical force to detain anyone. I figure that policy makes more sense than providing handcuffs but not the tools necessary to effect an arrest. FWIW, I didn't carry in the store when I worked for Best Buy. I was a full-time probation officer and reserve police officer at the time, but due to some quirks in the law and the store policy, I chose not to carry. I did keep a handgun locked in a car safe in my vehicle, but technically the parking lot was not owned by the store. If it had been, I still would have been in violation of their policy.

I believe a French company owns Target...you do the math.
False, but any joke at the French's expense is still funny.

doesn't sound like over thinking to me. it's as if by the very act of asking them you are in essence admitting to it, or that's what you're assuming they will interpret. so, in the end it's best to keep quiet until you can get a written publication.

remember... you're not paranoid if they're really after you.
