Wow Betty - you are covered for 28 others by looks of it.
Odd tho - once again there appears to be a reciprocity hiccup - you are not showing PA and yet my PA and FL permits do TN. Hmmm - strange.

Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee and Utah honor any states permit. Vermont and Alaska allows anyone who can legally own a firearm to carry it concealed without any type of permit. Click on "Who Honors My Permit" in the left collumn on the main page at Handgunlaw.us and you will see a chart that list every state and whose permit that state honors and you can also see a list showing all the permits that any state honors. Check out Handgunlaw.us . About everything you want to know about a states CCW laws is there.
No need for it here. Louisiana puts all that info, including the map, on their webpage- http://www.lsp.org/handguns.html#recipOriginally Posted by Captain Crunch

Thanks to Gary Slider. Good job, Gary.
Looking at my Non resident CCW chart, I can only pick up additional individual states if I apply for a Maine, Connecticut and Nevada licenses.
I purposely neglect to mention Iowa, Massachusettes, Rhode Island, DC, New Jersey and Maryland because they wouldn't let me have one anyway.
Thanks for the link, Captain! I've been wondering how you guys did those maps.
Amen to that!Originally Posted by Hunting Coyotes
So how do we go about getting more reciprocal states or even changing the restrictions in our own states? PA is pretty good, being a "shall issue, no test" state (so far). But who makes the rules? How can a citizen impact those rules? Do we contact our legislators, the AG's office, or is there an agency or a committee or what?

Requiring a license makes it illegal to do something that was lawful before the license was required.
Great websites -- First bookmarked Packing.org months ago, and now I've added Handgunlaw.us
Much appreciation Gary Slider and all the folks who work to help the rest of us understand the landscape of handgun laws.

Indeed, Welcome Gary I read many of your posts on PDO, And
I have seen your new site also, Good luck!!.

You guys are confusing me... IIRC, Packing.org already has these on the bottom of every state's page. You don't have to do anything except copy it and save it. I tried to check it to make sure I'm not crazy, but the site is down.

jar - mine for example is not a std map - it was made up to suit my combined PA and FL non-res - all put together.
A convenience for me if you like.

Not wanting to bad mouth anyone but the facts are info at Packing.org is not up to date. Over 60% of their maps are not up to date and many state pages especially when it comes to the states they honor are not up to date. The reason I know is I was the person who took care of them for years before starting my own website.
cool resource...thanks
