Sherman cost too much to move around. You have to get a over weight permit at about 45,000 pounds. A Stuart weighs 32,000. A Sherman weighs 64,000. It runs about 15 cents a mile pre ton that you are over, so that comes out to about 75 cents a mile. PLUS it is over sized, so you need a front and rear escort.
I could put my Stuart, and M20 armored car on the same lowboy and still be with in limits.....
