.357 taurus 651 with crimson grips. One speed loader in my smartcarry. Most comfy holster/weapon combo I have. Played with the kids, wrestled with the boys and not a worry in the world to check my weapons being secured.

Yes I will, and Yes I did. Carried a pocket pistol all day from wake up until bed time. Of course, I do this every day, 365.

I never left the house either but retrieved my G26 from safe keeping when the power went out in the area for a while. I don't consider that carrying, but I possessed it with intent to use in case a BG took advantage of the power outage to break in my home. That incident struck up a decent conversation about my decision to start back carrying a handgun between my father & I. Responsibility, Education, and Awareness of laws/regulations were topics discussed relating to lawful carry of a firearm. It went pretty good, he respected my decision & reasoning behind carrying. My father walked away from our conversation realizing that his son had thought things through, and is on the right path for being the leader in his household.

To my mind, carrying on Christmas day is potentially more important than most other days, as thieves are more likely to be very active in the "presence of presents", if you catch my drift.

Have you never heard of anyone being attacked by a loose pit bull while walking?

I did carry to my son's house just over a hundred miles away. A fun time was had by all. My 4 yo grandson got a bunch of dinosaurs including one from me that walks and roars! The boy loves dinosaurs, snakes and bugs! What a kid.

Nope, carried my Kahr P45 all day, whole fam-damnily plus a couple guests over for dinner, etc, nobody knew...well, the wife knew of course, and my daughter probably knew, but only because they know "if the pants are on, I'm carrying".
