:twak: Get the Glock! :image035:
I have both (340pd with CT's). Assuming you would actually carry the G26 (it is almost twice as heavy) I would go glock due to capacity, controllability, "practice-ability".
Even with stock sights, I'm way more accurate and faster at anything over 7 yards compared with the 340, laser included. Plus I can actually practice with it without my hand hurting for a week after.
I also see you have a G19, so you have the additional advantage of interchangeable parts, mags, and holsters.
I vote...get the Glock!
Go Glock!
Get the Glock. I've got a G26 and love it.
Although, $300 worth of ammo would be great to have too!
If you have a G19, you need a G26 to go with it...Get the Glock...
Never pass up the opportunity to buy a gun, you'll regret it...
Get the Glock. (Unless you are waiting for one of the 4th generation)
Keep your eyes out for a used laser...
take your checkbook with you and get them both...
If you are going to invest money in defensive handgun supplies, invest it in the kind of gear that supports your shooting system. If you don't have a shooting system, invest in some defensive handgun training before spending money on different hardware. Otherwise, flip a coin.
Already have a carry gun? I'd go get training, myself, before I got more gear.
But if you've already gotten at least 40 hours of cumulative training under your belt, get a Glock 26. Love that little gun!

Not meaning to hijack the thread...
Pax,
I just finished your book "Lessons from Armed America", it was a good read and I'd recommend it to everyone...
Ok, back on topic...
I love my G19. Thought about getting a 26. But the size difference is really not that much. Barrel length makes little difference for CC, so your paying for what? A half inch shorter grip. Depending on your frame it may make no difference. Just passing along why I'm not buying a 26, unless my wife ends up wanting one. In the end, your money. Can't go wrong with a gift card to a gun shop!
I carry one of my J-frames all the time. I think you should go with the CTC grips. Just my own experience....
