I just recently applied for PA non-resident and got it in 7 days

    Anyway congrats!
Vermont does not issue Permit/Licenses to Carry a Concealed firearm. Vermont allows anyone
who can legally own a firearm to carry it concealed without a permit of any kind.

Mine was about 60 days, this summer. But I suspect they were overloaded and now catching up.

Why'd you wait two days to mail the application? Ok, ok, 12/5 was a Saturday.

    Congratulations!

My TX CC took a little over 60 days this fall. I suspect they triple checked all my info as the picture I used makes me look like a terrorist of some sort.

Things seem to be picking up in Texas. A friend just got his in about 60 days or less. I know some good members of the Texas CHL Forum have worked hard to make the process faster. It looks like their eforts are paying off!

WOW ... that's fantastic !!! Good to hear that Texas has shortened the wait time drastically. Mine was 150 days mailed 4/09. I think they were just overwhelmed with the influx from the '08 election results.

Maybe ammo prices & availability will likewise improve in time as the "dust settles" ... can't wait for 2010 & 2012 elections to restore some order & sense.
Asked by a CNN reporter "What do you feel when you shoot a terrorist"?, the Marine sniper simply shrugged & replied "recoil".

Now more than ever, we are at war on our home soil ... WAKE UP & arm our troops when they are on home soil!

Renewals get kicked up to the front of the line. First timers have to do the most waiting.
