Welcome to the CHL community. However, I for one don't inherently believe the Williamson County PD is evil. What spurred a comment like that, I'm curious?

I always give LEO's the benefit of the doubt. They have a difficult job to do and face life/death situations far more often than the general public. I also appreciate that the crime rate in Williamson county is less than 1/2 the average in Texas, 1/3 of Travis county, and significantly lower than the national average. I also appreciate knowing that of one screws up in Williamson County (drunk driving, etc), they get the book thrown at them. I also appreciate that Williamson County has a reputation for being the most conservative county in all of texas, although bleed thru Travis County is undoubtedly coming. Basically, I like Williamson County and I have no prob with the LEO's at all.

So far the situation hasn't come up.
As an NRA Certified Instructor this is what I tell my students to say, word for word, if they are stopped (with thier hands on the wheel as the officer approaches), "Officer I have a concealed carry permit and I am carrying a firearm, what are your instructions". It is also required that you inform them when they approach the vehicle in Ohio. They know you have a permit when they run your tag anyway.
