Has anyone taken advantage of the offer at the bottom of that page??? It sounds really good, and I signed up for his emails and DVD, but I was hoping someone had taken advantage of the training and gun/equipment offer and could speak to it. Anyone?

The whole point is that it doesn't matter if the arms control treaty is unconstitutional. A treaty is HIGHER than the Constitution, and requires the state to adopt laws that implement it.

That is why this is so dangerous. All it requires is for the US to sign it, the President to submit it for ratification, and the Senate to pass it with 51 votes... and it is OVER. Once in, you can't get it back out, EVER.

I think we would or should keep this one on our radar screen big as it can be and alert and if the Senate or even this President dared to try and pass such a treaty ratification that the gun owners in this country make such a rumble, that we shake the pillars of Washington before they even think of putting pen to paper and they say oh heck no, were not waking that sleeping giant.

Someone mentioned 100 years ago we could O/C, well your right, we could, but along the way civilization came along and with civilization comes responsibilities and with responsibilities comes laws, now some we may agree with and some we may not, but you pointed out one law and I agree with you, but if you think one law barring O/Cing to be impairing your freedoms, I implore you to please remember the many freedoms that we still have overall that many other countries don't.

Sure, we have to fight for them, sure we have a fight ahead to keep them, not saying we don't, but in perspective, it's a fight to keep, not regain so much which is better then probably 3/4s of the world wouldn't you say. What I'm saying, is see the cup 1/2 full, not 1/2 empty and be happy and fight the good fight my friend. We still have what a lot of countries don't.

Avenger great post but yeah i could not watch anymore of the video the more i watched it the more it (enraged) me is nicer word i would've used. i will not lie seeing all those firearms being destroyed almost brought a tear to my eye :'( lol but on a serious note. all it takes is one incident where a firearm was needed to help ANY of those tofu fartin tree huggin hippies or their familys and i GUARANTEE their opinion would change.

Anybody bother to check to see how old that video is? It seems familiar like I have seen it before, quite a while back. Any of those people still in office either at the UN or the various other agencies?

Nothing against Front Sight, but it seems like that is more of an attempt to generate some business.
The Japanese of World War II feared invading the US because of a “rifleman behind every tree.”
IIRC the quote was "A rifle behind every blade of grass" and even then, never verified as to who said it or what the exact words were.

Ambassador Jauantha Dhanapala was hand picked by UN Secretary-General, Kofi Annan to take on the challenging job of Under Secretary General to re-establish the Department of Disarmament after the UN reforms of 1997 (1998–2003). During his tenure he piloted the UN role in arresting the proliferation of small arms and light weapons, anti-personnel landmines, conventional weapons, and weapons of mass destruction while reinforcing existing norms and norm-building in other areas such as missiles. He also broke new ground both in-house in taking managerial initiatives in gender mainstreaming and in work-life issues, as well as in the disarmament field by innovating the exchange of weapons for a development programme in Albania and other areas, and also in the cross-sectoral linking of disarmament with development, the environment and peace education programmes.
Other than his anti gun for everyone (6 years ago), he has done some excellent human rights and anti nuke work. Choose your evil.

Ambassador Whittlesey serves as Chairman Emeritus of the American Swiss Foundation in New York, where she served as Chairman for 18 years. Mrs. Whittlesey is also a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Institute of World Politics, a graduate school of diplomacy and national security affairs in Washington, DC, for which she formerly served as Chairman for 6 years. She is a Member of the Board of Directors of Christian Freedom International, headquartered Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, an organization dedicated to assisting persecuted Christians around the world for which she also served as Chairman for 3 years. Ambassador Whittlesey also served as a U.S. delegate to the UN Conference on Small Arms and Light Weapons in 2001 and as an official adviser to U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton during the 2006 UN Conference on Small Arms and Light Weapons in New York City.
That was over 3 years ago.

There is no doubt that there are political parties around the world trying to quash our freedoms, and they have been at it for a very long time.

With the current administration, indeed this is more of a threat than ever, but they do still need to go through the proper steps to sign it. In order to succeed, they will have to be discrete, and there is no way the media or the other fanatical backers of such a move will be able to keep their mouths shut.

Cause for concern, yes. Something to get into a frothing rage or panic over, no.

Sticks, your right, but it's always good to bring something up again and stir the pot around and jog the memories of just how close we are to losing what some of us hold dear to our hearts, our freedoms. After reviewing what you said, I see your points, it's old, but how much under the table crap has gone on since that time? So it might be good to stir the pot, get out representatives, congressmen/women and senators stirred up and remember who they are representing and who put them where they are are. A little reminder never hurts now and then so they don't become relaxed.

Alot of thing would have to happen though. The balance of power would have to greatly tip in the anti-gun favor. The moons and the stars would have to align. THEN they would have to shove this down millions of pro 2nd ammendment Americans throats.

With princess pelosi throwing temper tantrums and stinky reed saying racist things about the president... Plus the morons trying to pass the healthcare bill with such great resistance its was almost thread away from failing, I just don't think this administration is organized enough at this time to put through such a threat.

I hope that I am right. Pretty soon it will be the Conservatives turn to power!

Then again, I never thought I would see the day when the government would regulate the salaries in the free market. In the last year, many things have happened that I never tought I would see. Why should the abolution of the 2nd amendment be any different?

#60 ·
There are numerous ways to subvert the second amendment. The health care bill is one...Just threaten the loss of insurance. The UN small arms treaty is another.

I would wager another "terrorist" attack would be quickly followed by more restrictive guns laws...even if the attack were carried out with a crotch bomb!

As another poster stated, I believe that a lot of Americans are so dumbed down and brain washed by the boob tube and by the political rhetoric our so called representative stuffed suit's spew, who's only agenda is power and finacial gain.

Then I think it is time we take to the streets and door to door if necessary to raise such a ruckus as to shake the pillars of our country.

It is time to stop being the silent majority!!!!!!

The few who are ruining it for the many are only doing so because they have brainwashed the many. It is our responsibility to ourselves, our families and our country to stand up and shout from the roof tops that we are sick of our Constitution being shredded.

The few are being heard by the many. Imagine the power we would have if we all spoke in one unified voice and said, we are through. We are done with your lies, with your sublimation of our rights. You are leaving, we are the power, you are OUR employees and quite a few of you are FIRED!!!! There are many that have scoffed the very laws they are SWORN to uphold only because too many do too little. We need to be the vocal majority. WE need to take off our diapers and stand tall as men, as free patriots and say our piece in public regardless of whether or not our voice shakes.
Silence has cost us too dearly. WE need to be the ones speaking our outrage. WE need to be the ones rattling the cobwebs from the minds of the sheep who are queued for slaughter, numbed by the Valium of irresponsibility, of the mindset of someone else will take care of it. We need to get out of our comfort zone and say enough is enough.
Talk can only do so much. This is the time for ACTION, for accomplishment, for taking back what is ours and waking up those in their drugged stupor who think it is all okay. Those who have been hypnotized by the lies and sublime losses of their freedoms.

Our elected EMPLOYEES in the White House, Senate and Congress need to be inundated on all fronts and reminded who they work for. Have the workers become the masters? Have they so fully revolted that we think we work for them?

I think not!

Anyone that wants my guns can have them, but they get all my ammo first!!

Not so. From US Government 100: It takes a two thirds vote by the US senate to ratify a treaty.

Our constitution no longer means anything to many people....

Once the government takes away our right to firearms, they will fully control us. They are trying to take control of everything. We are moving closer and closer to socialism. Healthcare, broadcast tv, internet, firearms. We are going to be like china. They will control what we can watch on tv and read online. Then they will get rid of private businesses and turn everything into government, and your income tax will be over 50% of your paycheck. It is coming. If you don't believe it, that's fine. But if it happens. Just remember, I told ya so.

It dont matter when the video was made, what matters is the message it brings. Not every part of the video may be true, but, its true enough. We are under attack by an enemy who does not care about your rights. The rights our fathers fought so hard for in almost every single war including the American Revolution. They dont care that your an everyday, law abiding, down to earth citizen. They only care about the $ and taking control of YOU!

It is time to stand up to this enemy and fight back! Enough is enough! Yes that video "enraged me" thats why I posted it, and thats what its supposed to do! Its meant to show us what we are up against, what kind of battle we are fighting.

I love this country, I fought for this country, I want to remain in this country. But if they take my guns, if we LET them win, Im moving. I dont know where, but I will renounce my citizenship and move to Norway in the mountains and be by myself or something. I donno.

WE CANNOT LET THEM WIN!
