BTW how does an average of 18 posts a month make me keyboard happy?

I have all kinds of friends. Some I agree with, some I do not. I do applaude your intensity of stating your beliefs.

Today I wear a gun under civilian clothes, no uniform, no badge. I did my time; now I expect those in today's armed service to protect our freedom. Meeting regular folks (at the club range) who routinely carry concealed to protect our safety has made me feel more like an ordinary citizen -- not less.

Get real: cars kill more people than firearms. You make more life and death decisions driving to the supermarket than carrying a gun. And you know what? Most of us kill no one even though we routinely break traffic laws. So the driver license doesn't make us special, nor does how law abiding we aren't. We 'protect' others just by avoiding accidents, by not hurting other people when we drive. We abhor those who drive recklessly or carelessly. If we see someone driving dangerously, we may call 911, but (road rage aside) wouldn't think of intervening with that 2-ton weapon in our control. Let it be likewise with the CWL.

Each of us, as human beings, with or without arms, is of infinite worth -- there is no 'cut above' infinite.

More thread cleanup due to off topic pee pee contests.

If you really are a cut above the rest, please keep it on topic.

If you aren't a cut above the rest, keep it on topic.

In "cut above" I was thinking that we put higher standards on our selves, it has no meaning or relationship to our worth as humans, we for the most part are all equal.

Many posters here have done a much better job describing my thoughts than my fingers allow me to do.

Rugergirl, don't fool your self, you are a cut above, and by your post it is easy to find. RamRod, no status symbol, agreed, but don't tell me you are not a cut above, it's easy to see with many of your past posts.

Read posts by Harryball, gottabkiddin,BugDude,BigStick, and ccw9mm, you will find what you are looking for. There are a lot of good posts here, many know what I was trying to convey.

Serious CCWrs know the grave responsibility vested in them by the state and the awesome power they wield.

Whilst on CCW patrol in his neighborhood, he is aware that it is not his utility belt with flashlight, cell phone cocked and locked on 911, Mace Canister, spare mags, primary and secondary backup guns, and C menu MRE for snacktime that gives him his power.

It is simply the power of good vs. evil.
