No offense but the whole thing smells fishy..... As others have asked, do they expect trouble? If not why do they need you ARMED at the door?
No how and no way would I let myself get into taking on that PERSONAL responsibility, yes it will be very personal when the SHTF.
On a side note, if that were my MC club looking for an armed doorman I would rethink going to the event all together.

Yes, if the "club members" want an armed security person at the door, let them hire one, but not you. It would be too easy for you to take the fall if something happened. And that's not what your CC license is for.

You sound like the "Fall Guy" to me. By the way, why does your bike club know you have a CCW?

The whole proposition goes against what a concealed weapons permit is about. First, concealed means concealed and that means it ought not to be a subject of general, public knowledge. How did your club know aboat yours.
Second, the purpose of a concealed weapons permit is for self protection - not the protection and guarding of others at some semi-public event.
Third, you obviously not a professional security guard with training, expertise, and, above all, a license to perform such duties.
Whoever asked you to do this showed extremely bad judgement to only be exceeded by yours if you opt to do it. For you it is an absoutely losing proposition.

Why do they want you to carry? Are they expecting trouble and then that you act as police or something like that? I cannot tell you what to do, but I should not do it. The consequences if Mr. Murphy shows up are way too serious. Like others said, hire an off duty LEO.
