I remember there was a cops episode where a guy was under cover as a hobo trying to buy crack. A guy he was talking to went to grab his wire and asked what it was. He replied "It's for my dialysis; I was shot a few years ago" and the thug apologized to him.
Since you are med school (VCU?) people might not fall for that... but be creative unless you are willing to be up front lol.

Now i don't know if you guys were drinking at the party but here in MN you can't carry when drinking alcohol one beer might be to much, so i don't carry when haveing a few beers but its never to far away [Truck] lock box a little hard to get at if you need it! but i stay away from the real bad partys if I can.
