    xd40sc cc holster?

As the title states, I'm looking for a holster for my xd40sc. I'd like a iwb, possible a small of back one. I have around the house put the xd in waist band of my jeans without any holster and it feels comfortable and after a short time hardly noticed it. This is why I'm thinking iwb.
I'm 5'7" about 175lbs, so somewhat stocky but not overweight.
I just dont want to sell myself short and get something uncomfortable or even worse, something I cant pull quickly if needed.

I've got the same gun and I bought an inexpensive "Quest" black nylon IWB that works perfectly. I've got a picture of it with my XD in the guns forum in a thread specifically about the XD-40 sc.

I use Blade-Tech's IWB that's open bottom to carry both my XD9SC and XD9. It keeps things tucked-in close, is durable, and stiff enough for easy re-holstering. It's been through a few IDPA matches, and worked fine.

I have the same pistol and use a Crossbread Supetuck. I have been carrying this way for about 6 months and love it. I have drove from NM to NC and back while wearing this rig no problems. I have worn it all day around the house, and out, even followed the wife Christmas shopping. (I can't carry at work so most of the week I a unarmed). You will need to have about 1" to 1 1/2" extra room in your pants. A good belt makes alot of differance. I found a 5.11 at a local cop shop for around $40. The finish has worn off where the clips attach to the belt but the support is great. In warmer weather this set up worked great with shorts as well. All of my shorts have belt loops. I feel comfortable wearing only a T-shirt as a cover garment. One thing I did find out is the need to wear an A-shirt (wife beater) to keep the holster off my skin, this also helps keep the holster in place. Bryan

I also have the xd40sc. I use the MTac with a beltman and find the combination very comfortable. Good luck with your search.

I have an XD9sc and use a Crossbreed Supertuck also. VERY comfortable. The good belt advice MH53J stated is correct. Cheaper belts will stretch out in time. It is a great holster and the company has excellent customer service if you should have any problems.

I use a Galco IWB holster. I am right handed and use the left handed model in the center of my back. it is very comfortable to me.

When I carried an XD40 (full size), I used a Supertuck, and it worked great and was very comfortable. Eventually I lost interest in .40cal, but I still have a high opinion of the holster. I now carry a .45 in a Garrity holster, and I have a KD as well, but I highly recommend Crossbreed. I doubt you could find a more comfortable holster to wear.

I still have the holster, but not the gun. If you're interested in a fairly well-used Supertuck, we could probably work something out.
