I'm curious, why are the signs worthless in Florida, it's probably been said before, but I missed it.

It is not my intention to hijack the thread, but I will try to answer your question: In Florida the signs have not weight (not talking about Federal or State's laws); in other words, it is not illegal to ignore them. However, if you ignore a “non gun” sign and for some reason the store owner realizes that you are CCing and then he/she asks you to leave, you better do it, otherwise you are armed trespassing. This question comes up very often; there is a not too old thread, http://www.defensivecarry.com/vbulle...usinesses.html , there you can read more about the topic.

Thanks, I didn't mean to hijack either, just curious.

Never seen any such signage on these two in any state I have traveled in, including PA.

A large number of establishments have no weapons policies that are buried somewhere in their bylaws, but they don't post. Almost all malls fall into that category. The one map had a movie theater in Castle Rock listed, but I go there often and have never witnessed a sign.

Signs in CO are the same as FL.

Another reason to avoid these store would be the fact that most multiply victum shooting occur in criminal impowerment areas that are posted "No guns". These are criminal preferred locations!
