Here's a couple of my rules.........
Don't do anything while armed that you wouldn't do un-armed.
Don't approach a trip to the mall with your wife as if you're the lead SS Agent on the presidential detail. Those characters that make eye contact with you are looking at you because you're glaring at them. Go armed but enjoy yourself.
Don't point a gun at, use pepper spray on, or karate chop every homeless person that approaches you at the Quickie Mart. In most cases these guys are harmless drunks and just need another dollar to get more Mad Dog 20-20.
Don't become so obsessed with security that you and your family can't enjoy life....it's just too short to live that way. Ride that roller coaster at the fair, take the kids to the beach and take your wife on that cruise she's always talking about.

Know your firearm and exactly how it functions, and never carry a firearm you haven't tested or with ammo you haven't tested.

NOT LIVING IN FEAR, JUST READY!!!
I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness,
nor the arrow for its swiftness,
nor the warrior for his glory.
I love only that which they defend.
