Dallas Shooting Groups

So are there any shooting groups in the Dallas area? New to the area and dont know anyone or any IDPA members. Thank you all.

You might try this group. We shoot together once per month at Elm Fork. There are also sponsored competitions, etc. with various groups, inlcuding steel matches, IDPA, etc. Dallas Target & Action Shooters Group (Dallas, TX) - Meetup.com

It's a lot of fun. You meet quite a few other shooters and the usually get to shoot a lot of different weapons. At a recent shooting event, we all had a chance to shoot several various of AR's w/ Trijicons, Aimpoints, and various other types of sights as well as a suppressed AR. Also had a SCAR and a 10.5" AR present. Next meetup is on 2/27.

You can also shoot with the Dallas IDPA folks. Dallas Action Pistol Shooters. They shoot both IDPA and USPSA. Meet both in Big D (Mockingbird Lane near Love Field) and out by the NASCAR track in Justin.

They are great folks and fun to shoot with ... who knows I might sneak in occasionally, LOL (havent had time in a long time :( )

Texas Gun Owner.com has monthly meets in Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, and Austin.

I think the next Dallas get-together is Feb 28th.
