    Best Regards,
    Agreed.

Starting a class with something that puts you on a level playing field with the students and shows you aren’t a know-it-all e.g. “There are no stupid questions here, we all learned what we know from somewhere or someone else. This is a great opportunity for us to share our knowledge with one another; I hope you learn a lot in this class and hopefully I’ll learn something from you.”

Great news and congrats big time. Good luck and don't let lifes hurdles slow you down. Wife and I are thinking of starting an indoor range with retired LEO instructors or here in our corner of the world, but the more I research it, the more I scratch my head. I just don't know..Anyway God bless you and keep on keeping on.

That's actually a pretty cool idea, or at the very least a super suggestion!

Kentucky requires an 8 hour class covering everything from deadly weapon law to marksmanship (such as is required) to gun maintenance. Had a great instructor who kept the class interesting and serious though at the same time enjoyable and fun. Learned quite a bit and had a pleasant day. Pretty good for someone who hasn't HAD a class for nearly 40 years. Anyhow, our instructor was an arch conservative and made it quite clear that survival--should the worst happen--certainly trumps concern for any law. A firm believer in the old saying--"better to be judged by 12 than carried by six." He also told us that in his talks with other certified instructors, the State would occasionally, though rarely, put "observers" in classes to make certain the instructor was doing the proper things. Best of luck and hope you are VERY busy!
