One thing I have to mention though: that petition site seems to be very, very pro-United Nations. That bothered me a bit, not only to see a petition website so focused and biased, but also because I hate the UN with so much passion.
Criminals thrive on the indulgence of society's understanding.
I signed it also, but the UN Foundation link makes me wonder...

I'm torn. I don't like companies being pushed to do something they may not otherwise do, like ban guns.
But I really don't like Starbucks, I admit I am a coffee snob and don't like their beans (roasted too dark).
I signed it for the principal of the Brady Bunch trying to force them into submission.
