Greetings fellow enthusiasts. I am new to the forum and like what I see. I am also a new CPL(CCW) licensee, but have been shooting all my life. Since having children and because of the deteriorating state of affairs in Michigan, I thought it a good time to start to carry to protect myself and my family... or to put it as my instructor put it to "stop being a grass eater and become a meat eater" (wasn't that Cooper that said that..?).
I have owned a S&W Model 915 (Model 59 Series) for many years, and have ran thousands of rounds through it at the range. I am now going to start to carry it everyday, and seem to have developed a boggle.
I have searched high and low but can't seem to find a good inside/outside the pants holster like the K&D Defenders. I am a big guy... 6'4" and 260 pounds so I can conceal it pretty well just tucked in my belt at my strong side kidney. I dislike carrying that way because of the danger of slippage and/or drop. I have an ambidextrous inside the pants to get me started, but was wondering if anyone knew a reasonably priced ITP/OTP holster I could pick up that would be comfortable..?
I know its never going to be comfortable, but it sure is comforting.
Thanks in advance...
