I thought that was what paddle holsters were for. During XMAS got a G36 from my brother in law that came with a Krammer paddle holster. At first I though I had no use for a paddle holster. Boy was I wrong.

Paddle holsters are great in some cases and I really like my Blackhawk Serpa paddle holster. But I think if you wear one with sweatpants or anything else that loose in the waste band you're begging to get embarrassed when they drop to your knees unexpectedly.

I carry in a SmartCarry when I'm in sweats or yoga pants around the house. But I'm not really worried about CC under those circumstances. Just where to put the gun.

I tie the draw string. At work, if on the evening shift I have to wear PT gear and hang a big radio from the waist band. I don't find that a paddle holster adds much more weight than a pocket holster. Gravity is gravity.

I sometimes carry my Kahr in a IWB wearing sweats. I find that in my holster with double clips and a tightened waistband, I an carry IWB. IN my other IWB with a single clip, drawing pulls the holster out of the waistband. I have tried and do not like pocket carry in sweats

My Glock-36 is always just a reach away, but I may also have my P-3AT in this... FIST, INC.
I can use this with gym shorts, khaki shorts without a belt, or even P.J.'s. My gun does not sag and it hugs the kidney.

I have a nylon gun belt that the holster rides on, can put it on around me and the pants fit over the top of it... and no one is the wiser. Gun stays where it should be.

2 word reply: Shoulder holster. No belt needed, carry your spare mags with you(well most have spare mag holders), and easy on/off.

I don't tend to worry about concealing when I'm at home. I just open carry when I'm there.

I've also found the serpa to work with sweat and athletic pants, just need the drawstring pulled tight. But that tends to get uncomfortable, and if I wanted them pulled that tight, I'd just wear a pair of pants with a belt.

Always wear sweats at home and the LCP in a soft pocket holster fits the bill perfectly. As was mentioned, the drawstring is key.

me too. 442 in lounge pants or shorts pocket, no problem. Cinch up your draw strings a little and you're good to go.
