Ok my favorite comfortable laying around garb is a robe. They all are equiped with big pockets. I can move around quite good with my G26 or several other of my smaller lighter shooters. If I have to go outside things change, as far as clothing, overcoat, sweats ect. still pack heat.

I keep my G36 on the coffee table while at home and have a few more weapons in strategic spots around the house. I never keep the front entrance to my house completely unlocked. In summer, the storm door is locked with the window covering screen down far enough so no one can grab inside to unlock the door but providing enough fresh air. In winter, both storm door and front door is always locked. I've had someone uninvited walk into the house I was sharing with someone ages ago and I swore that would never happen again. So I feel comfortable enough not having to carry inside the house due to the security procautions I have in place at my home.

I have a nylon 2" belt with a small slide on universal belt slide holster, that works for my P 64 or FEG PA 63. I strap it on over my sweat pants and is covered by my shirt. I use this setup when I run quick errands. I don't usually carry around the house, but do have access to a pistol if ever needed.

Man, if only Plaxico Burress had read this thread, he would have found a better way to wear his Glock in his sweatpants.....

Thunderwear or Smartcarry if in sweats or running pants, running shorts. I have actually carried a S&W mod. 29 .44 mag. 4 inch barrel in a Thunderwear holster under cotton shorts with no one the wiser.

I put my holstered LCP in my sweat/athletic pants all the time at home and sometimes out and about. Don't worry, it won't be a problem. Something bigger will be, but my LCP doesn't weigh down the sweats too much.

Oh, and it is also comfortable and totally concealed. In a good holster my girlfriend has no clue that I have it in my pocket when we lay on the couch.

I guess I'll have to get a smart carry. I need a solution for the gym.

I rock the S&W snubbie 442 with wind pants. I carry it in a $20 IWB suede holster from the uniform store. The key, IMO, is to cinch those pants tight with the drawstring and then tuck in the holster. No problem. I cant imaging using my pocket holster with those baggy light weight pants though. It would swing and bang off my thigh waaay to much.

Another vote for SmartCarry. Works great for me even in just gym shorts in the summer. Also good for family reunions, etc., where lots of hugging or close personal contact will occur. Been using the same holster for a decade and wouldn't be without them.
