My wife is going to take a private lesson at the range. Going to start with a Walther P22 which I got for her a month ago.We are using the same man that taught me the basics of firearms. I like him because he teaches law first and then shooting.
Congratulations. I can't get my wife to go to the range. She's not really against me carrying (some initial trading of thoughts on it, but not too bad) but she's not about to consider it herself. I had my daughter at the range shooting 22s when she was 7. Good instructor that teaches the law prior to actual shooting. There are too many folks out there that learn the shooting and never study the legal aspect.
Congrats. Many women find they actually LIKE shooting, and that leads to a comfortableness with guns that may eventually lead to her carrying. I'm sure the instructor will take her at HER pace and give her the proper guidance.
Congrats! My wife started with a P22 and love it. Lol, after a couple months she decided she needed a bigger gun and moved up to a XDsc9. Love shooting with my Honey.
That's GREAT! I love going to the range with my wife and my daughter. They both have their CWP. My daughter turned 21 this year and now has hers. Of course I'm a proud hubby and dad Have fun!!!
Great job. When you say 'we are using the same guy' am I to understand you'll be attending the class along with her? If so, be smart and let the teacher teach, you're just another student.
