Why is it that a Wilson 1911 makes my hand sweat sooooo bad. Got to hold and look one over today. I really think I need it. It seems to be a good use for a tax return. 2995. ouch
I came close with a work order and the whole nine yards. Finally, I came to my senses and realized that I have more fun having a revolver modified by a quality shop. However, the invoice I just received in the mail for my modified 640, made me a little sick.
I have a friend that owns a few Wilsons and STI's,the guns are the smoothest I have ever shot and at 10 yards offhand slowfire I can shoot one big hole outta the X-ring,Downside for CC is the triggers are way to light,I literally thought about squeezing the trigger and the gun bucked in my hand, not only that but having a 2-3 thousand dollar gun sitting in a property room is scary,I carry a 1000.00 + dollar colt Combat Commander with a sight upgrade that is the most expensive gun I carry, and actually my RIA compact 45 has a smoother trigger and only cost 1/3 the price
They are expensive but they really are outstanding too. They are worth it if you have the money to spend. Why worry about an expensive gun sitting in the evidence/property room? If it comes to that, you have bigger problems.

STI's are pretty nice. Very sweet shooting. I am still lusting after a VIP. Haven't taken the plunge with 1911's, but it will likely be the one if I ever do.
