To the OP, do the right thing and give up your permit voluntarily. Not being able to think clearly during a bar fight let alone being in a bar in the first place is a very good indication that you should not have a permit at all.

That is probably the dumbest thing I have ever read on this forum.

You obviously don't have the right mental outlook and should not be carrying concealed.

In a bar with a gun!
    Impersonating a cop!
You deserve to lose your CCW.

And please don't move to my state!

Though harsh, I am going to have to agree with this. The lack of judgment displayed would indicate to me that the OP lacks the judgement to concealed carry at all.

I'm going to help you out with your court fees.

I'll give you 50 bucks for your gun... sight unseen...unless its a High Point. Then the deal is a no go.

Does this mean we can start another thread about High Points?

Moving to another state probably won't solve any problems. You will be asked to tell all about your past and maybe a background check will reveal all.

I can't believe you even posted this on a public forum...
Vermont does not issue Permit/Licenses to Carry a Concealed firearm. Vermont allows anyone
who can legally own a firearm to carry it concealed without a permit of any kind.

By the time your attorney meets with the prosecutor, your post on this forum will must likely be in his case file.

(anybody that thinks they are anonymous on the internet is kidding themselves)

But on the bright side, North Carolina is a Open Carry state.

    Wow...ummm, just wow.

OP, depending upon your state laws, and if you're found guilty, you may have just lost the right to even touch a firearm for the remainder of your life. At this point, I'd be more worried about that and the right to vote than your permit.

Depending on what type of bar you are in, anouncing that you are a cop might get 10-15 people to pile on and attack you.

    Here's what I think.

I think even if your license is good, and even if you keep it after this stuff is taken care of, I think you should stop carrying. You do not have the right mental state.

Yep. Seen that. Kid wrecked his car, had been on forums talking about driving the day before. Took the news 12 hours to find the posts.

OP - Sorry you screwed up. We all make mistakes. But, carrying into a bar, when prohibited in NC? Trying to play cop?

If you are at work - stop, go find a lawyer...now!!

Dont get caught impersonating a lawyer...go get you a good one.
You may not like guns. You may choose not to own one. That is your right.
You might not believe in God. That is your choice.
However, if someone breaks into your home at 3AM the first two things you are going to do are:
    1) Call someone with a gun.
2)Pray they get there in time." - A wise man
