I love it.......that's the way it supose to be. And I think most LEOs do appreciate (up front) law abiding citizens that are legal carriers.

It's nice when LEOs are friendly and know the gun laws.

Sounds like a good stop all around. Glad it was just a mistake on his part.
Now that's funny. Glad the stop went well Cugergirl.

Well Mrs. Robertson, seems like you still have the touch (just kidding). Actually, the cards were in your favor since after all, you were carrying a S&W Model 65!

Now that was funny. A true LOL moment. My wife said "What's so funny?".
It is surely true that you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink. Nor can you make them grateful for your efforts.

Unless the stop is bogus... Or LEO gets a wild hair up his macho... Or LEO decides to "disarm" you for "officer safety" while fumbling with your 1911 and nearly shooting someone (likely YOU)... Or when the dogs are called out to sniff your car for "explosive residue"... Or you get cuffed & stuffed while LEO calls your info and then released when nothing comes back. Without any apology- just 'cuz they can...

Since I am already in my 40's I will defer to one of the younger members on the forum for the housecall.

Are there any cub members out there that know how to remove soda spray from computer equipment. We have a member in need.

Yea, I want to see the new avatar as well.

Now back to the orginally highjacked thread.
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

    Not bad at all.
It is utterly illogical to believe that passing laws to reduce gun violence will be successful when those who are commiting the gun violence do not obey the law.

Cool stuff, 'cause one of the main things that worried me when I carried in somewhat liberal North Carolina in '96 (besides all the "No Gun" signs in NC) was; "what is gonna happen to me during a traffic stop?".

It always made me extremely nervous to drive down the road, and sure kept my speed down to the legal limit.

Of coarse, if I had been reading TREO's posts back in '96, I probably would have been so scared if those LEO gum-balls came on behind me while I was carrying that I would have first wet myself, and then fainted dead away -- so it is ALWAYS great to hear about calm and sensible LEO traffic stops...
