One to go with each pair of shoes, oh wait, I don't have that many shoes.
I'm feeling positively inadequate with my Ruger LCP.

Last time I was pulled over (not carrying) it was a lady officer. Yup, I got the ticket. My wife said: "So what lesson did you learn?". I said: "Not to go on that road any more".

Honestly I DO wonder what the urgency of that pullover was. Thanks for sharing the story!

And for some reason, I don't get the same treatment from wimmen coppers. They still give me tickets too.

Hmm. I'm a cynic and skeptic. "He says when I stopped at the traffic signal it appeared that my left brake light wasn't working, but when I turned the corner and stopped, he could see that it was working."

He could see it was working. So no need for the stop. Maybe could have followed a tad longer to make sure it was working.

Sounds like an excuse to pull you over, and another example of inappropriate fishing.

Yes, it is possible he was trying to be helpful. But, having seen the light work, I don't see why the stop was made.

I'm just one root in a grassroots organization. No one should assume that I speak for the VCDL.

I am neither an attorney-at-law nor I do play one on television or on the internet. No one should assumes my opinion is legal advice.

Hey TREO, what went wrong I thought it was SOP "to get proned out and a muzzle stuck in your ear".

RugerGirl, thanks for the post. All good as it should be.

Maybe next time the LEO will check the brake lights twice before he pulls someone over. Sounds like he was fishing.

Knowing a few LEO's, it just takes a swerve here, a percieved jog there, it's all up to them. Not dissing them, but it is their decision if they want to pursue something/someone. there are plenty of legal avenues they can use to get where they need to go.
