    Nope, and definitely not now
Vermont does not issue Permit/Licenses to Carry a Concealed firearm. Vermont allows anyone
who can legally own a firearm to carry it concealed without a permit of any kind.

not to be a jerk or anything, but if the citizens of Massachusetts driving skill is any indication, I just as soon they NOT carry a firearm. Try driving 495 at rush hour.....yikes.....talk about crazy people

Maybe, but it would be like choosing between being hanged or burned at the stake...not much of a choice...

I think it's ironic that the state where the first shots of the American Revolution were fired would make it such a hassle for free men to carry a firearm.

Yeah, can't say that I blame you for not wanting to contribute $100 a year to the state's coffers if you're not there that much.

No it isn't. they are just trying to make it as difficult as they can for the first shots of the second revolution to be fired in mass.

it doesn't sound that bad when you put it that way, however add 2 tanks of gas to get there and back, and over 10 hours of my time. Yea it's only 50+ cents a day but it's more of the crappy concept for me than it is price. This is exactly why they do this to deter people from carrying and in this case it worked. I'm just not there enough to justify it and this just gives me more of a reason not to go there.

    that's great.
I do agree on the principle against it, especially the part where they keep adding more and more requirements to discourage people from even applying.

Move. Leave the states that are practicing such controls on their residents. That way, only fools are left to pay their 50% tax rate. Texas will welcome you with open arms. Everybody else is already coming here...you might as well get here before our housing prices get crazy :)

    - The OP lives in Vermont. They are simply expressing their displeasure over Massachusett's out of state permit requirements. I live in CT and have thought about getting my MA permit, so I'm in the same boat. I can't bring myself to spend $100 and travel to apply for a permit that I would use maybe 3 times a year. :(
