For one reason and one reason only. The purse! I just got the last 2 items of my EDC setup (a multi tool and OC spray) and I have realized I just don't have enough space! I am probably going to have to switch over to cargo pants and shorts for my casual wear because jeans pockets just arent cutting it.

My knife, multi tool, light and OC spray all have pocket clips but two items per front pocket is a bit cramped. I already have a pistol and a extra mag hanging on my belt so I don't really want to hang anything else on it. I already have enough of a problem getting to my wallet without flashing my gun so putting something else on my belt that I use a lot like a multi tool or my pocket knife seems like a bad idea. I would kill for a purse haha. (And no, I REFUSE to carry a man purse or a fanny pack)

I have considered not carrying the OC spray but as far as defensive tools go the spray is the most likley thing I have to be used in a defensive situation. In theory I could give up the knife but the blade on the multi tool is medicore at best. But after all is said and done I think giving up the knife is probably going to be the best route :(

I hear ya! I keep my knife clipped on my front pocket, and my flashlight in a holster in front of my mag. I don't carry a multi-tool or spray; Don't know where to carry the spray. I would love one to clip on my pocket, but they are all to bulky for pocket carry that I've seen.

Personally, I dont carry OC spray. One thing my colleagues tell me, do I really want to have to explain/defend the use of force continuum and why I didn't use the OC spray before I used my firearm during a threat.

I already hate carrying a wallet and keys in my pocket so I try not to add anything else other then the basics. However, for those of you who carry a lot of stuff I can see your point.

The reason I started carrying the spray was because it is a lot more versatile then a gun. For me to use my pistol to defend myself I have to be able to say my life was in danger. Use of the OC spray isn't nearly as constrained.

I carry my clip on knife in my back left pocket furthest to the outside and it is most comfortable and out of the way, that might leave extra room in your front pockets.
