I just went down on the 8th of March. It is a Suzuki Supermoto, and I was playing. I had my TCP in my right front pocket. That's the side I went down on. The bike landed on my knee, and I landed on the TCP. It makes for one awful muscle bruise. Just like a bad charlie horse, only it last about a week. The bike tore the knee up, ACL is gone, MCL is strained, both meniscus are torn. Got back on the bike this week.

Interesting thread. Never been down (except once in a parking lot) in 20 years of Harley riding. Just submitted CCW application today to lvmpd. Not decided how will carry on the bike as yet. lot to think about in this thread.

I carry a Taurus .357 2" snubbie in my right pocket of motorcycle jacket (zipped up). Usually have a Kel-Tec P3AT in my right front jeans pocket as well, when riding.
I think for me, the last thing I'm worried about if I go down is, "am I going to land on my gun?".
Much more worried about if the head is going to meet the oncoming car, or "hey, look at the pretty guard rail coming up at me at 60 mph..."

I'm with you on that.
I carry OWB and have my jacket covering it.

We finally had a nice day here so I got out on the bike (FZ6) for a few hours.
I've never had a problem carrying the same way I would if I wasn't riding...A-IWB under a t-shirt or whatever.

If you carry in Condition 3, you have two empty chambers. One in the weapon...the other between your ears.
