I'm always in support of people providing a service, but sometimes I hear a story that lumps them with the worst of the worst and it makes me question whether my support/view is correct or not. Have you read about this:

Bad stuff. I read the complaint. Sounds like a lot of corruption in the Louisiana legal system.

Bad times, civilization turning into a jungle with savages real quick, like upon most of the globe. I do no approve but I understand and can empathize and sympathize.

Some?
Lohman arrived after the shooting, learned that his police colleagues "planned to provide false stories about what had precipitated the shooting" and "encouraged them to do so,"
SOunds like a lot more than 'some'. Sounds like a whole mess of them.

I have a friend who is a fire captain in New Orleans. Some of his stories regarding the police there are amazing.

NOLA has always been corrupt. The people except it. Politicians live it. No need to stop now.

Having lived there for a number of years, this sounds like another typical day in the life of the average NOPD officer.

"From the article"; Once they reached the other side of the bridge, the officers started shooting again, killing Ronald Madison, a 40-year-old severely disabled man, the indictment says.
Madison was shot seven times -- five times in the back, the coroner has said.
All I can say is JC! What the hell is going on with those guys. They should all stand trial for murder one IMO, anyone who fired a shot at any of the poor souls should be included. To open fire on anyone, or anything and not be 100% sure of your target and the reason for the use of deadly force is beyond wrong and stupid! If I was an officer there and was given an order to open fire, I'd refuse to do so, plain and simple.
I also remember seeing a video on youtube, or something about, officers going door to door confiscating firearms from the citizens for what ever reason. They brutalized a little old lady over a single revolver when she didn't want to give it up. I hope and pray this type of behavior doesn't happen again. Thomas Jefferson's got my sentiments on the matter, if it was to.
Very sad situation indeed.

My office is a mile or so away..... Just used the giant landmark as a reference point. Very good by the way, I think you're only the second person that has ever questioned it...
+1 on the standards.
