Pretty soon these people will be beating eachother to death with not-so-sharp blunt rocks.

"As Justice Minister, I want to deliver a safer, stronger Scotland through a more efficient and effective justice system. A justice system that stands up to the scourge of antisocial behaviour."
A "system" predicated on the belief that cleaning up afterwards constitutes a system of anything but punishment. Well, that system has a leak. It actually creates victims.

A true system of justice must, by definition I would think, include defense against actions as they occur. Such a system would recognize that it's unnecessary for a government to forcibly create victims. By disarming everyone in sight (except the criminals), such disarmament actions do little but to put an ineffective bureaucracy in charge of individual, on-the-instant defense of the people ... which, of course, is a practical impossibility. To promote such a thing as a "plan" is stupid and misguided beyond belief. In reality, it's a plan for the Criminal Retirement Fund and nothing else.

Explain: How does disarming victims reduce the number of victims?

A knife is not defensive, it is an offensive and
indeed a lethal weapon. And carrying a knife can often be the
first step towards becoming a criminal
    ; the first step towards
taking a life; the first step towards tearing apart the very
    fabric of our communities.
Oh my, I taken more than the first step............I carry knives & GUNS!

I'm sorry, I have no pity for them anymore. They have allowed themselves to be turned intoa nation of sheep.

Look, they banned guns....gun crime went up .
The have now banned knives...& guess what? Knife crime is UP!

What will they do when these bans don't stop crime & killings?

The next odvious step is to ban pointy sticks....

Then go after the fresh fruit. Hey, when a man jumps out of an alley with a bunch of logan berries, don't come running to me.

Well it says that owning a knife is the first step to becoming a criminal. I guess I'm well on my way...

This is getting more and more ridiculous. I almost feel sorry for the chefs in Scotland.

What will happen when they eventually outlaw forks and spoons because they are only offensive weapons... for your dinner? Eventually chopsticks will be outlawed too... imagine being held up by chopsticks...

Outlaw hands and feet. If a person trains the can become deadly with their hands and feet.

Well since there is a lot of Ire about banning knives in England, what about here. Many states and cities already ban many knives, switchblades, Butterfly knives, knives with blades over 4 inches, dirks, daggers, bowie knives, swords , stilletos, etc. Still the only people who are fighting legislation against knife laws are Knif manufactures, collectors and custom makers.

All pro gun people should also be pro knife. The Antis are anti gun and anti knife. Anti laws need to be stopped on both fronts.
