Yup. Under the Federal law (LEOSA), they can carry in any state. Of course, some states try to resist this.

I'd bet 90% of these retired LEOs live and play in "The Villages," a 55+ community in Sumter County. My parent's live there and the place is truly awesome. I'll have to keep an eye out next time I visit - looks like there's more in those golf bags than meets the eye!
