Thanks for posting this...sometimes we forget how good we have it here. And like others have said, you have realized that YOU are the weapon, not the firearm. You've also reinforced that situational awareness is king, and that thugs want victims not fights. Good on you for keeping your eyes on the horizon and for protecting those in your care.
