I'm sure this guy will remember my comments when he is awakened by something moving in the bushes in the middle of the night and realizes that he has no way of defending himself, no cell phone service, and no one to babysit him.

It's just really frightening to me to see how ignorant some people are, these are our neighbors, and they are sheep. Just another reason to make sure we can all handle our own and protect ourselves and the people we care about, because we can't count on anyone else. We have options, and those of us with families have the responsibility of protecting our loved ones. If we never need it, then great, but the security of having a firearm next to the bed is the only thing that allows me to sleep. I've been in many debates with people who are against guns, but I'm sure they'd be the first ones on my doorstep when the SHTF.

It just figures that this would be the attitude in California.
Just for the hell of it, I searched the forum for the word "firearm" and a bunch of stuff came up in states like PA, guys talking about their carry rigs. I really don't belong here, I need to leave this place and this giant herd of sheep.

I'd be willing to bet that most of that bunch, is anti, anti SUV, anti Gun, don't chop down a dead and dying tree. Let's burn up all the Forest rather than manage and harvest it.

Notice how in that thread most of us get described as "extreme Second Amendment types" when the one guy talks about carrying his Taurus without a round chambered.

On second thought, that is not an inaccurate statement for most of us. I just would have put it another way. I prefer "freedom junky."

That guy was a tool..."a stick carried Friar Tuck style is deadly..."....tell you what Friar, you bring the stick, I'll bring my SIG P229/.40S&W and we'll duke it out

Make sure you follow this guy and bring a camera...so after you save his happy butt, he'll know how silly he looks screaming like a little girl after the first wild animal decides he's tasty to eat...and keep as a reminder of why we carry.

send him to gunssavelives.com this dude is a tool amongst other things. i just read it and he whipped out statistics on you. something like a gun in the home is 22 times more likely tokilla family member or some other anti nonsense.

now that im thinking about it do you really want to save this guy? let him go out there unarmed if were lucky more like him will.

now i beleive everyone has the right to protect themselfs but some people DONOT need a gun. this link will make him so pissed try it.

What I thought was funny, was that he 'slammed' you for a two
year old article, yet he quotes something from 1993?? hmmm

I would have to agree, that quote was way too funny. Mtn biker: mr bear don't come any closer, I have a stick. Bear: growl, knocks Mtn bikers head off. Oops stick not so good an idea, if I was still alive I would give friar tuck a stern talking to

uhhh, yeah, good thinking, nice logic in there.
and the good friar wielding the "stick" would match up nicely to a drug dealer's armed guards out in the woods, or a 2-legged "animal" seeking your destruction
and yes, wild pigs are something to worry about even though they didn't charge you the first time you saw them, they are tough, heads/necks can be super thick and bullet resistant, and tusks can cut straight through your legs
    ok, i'll stop now :)
