Those Who Can't CCW @ Work

I carry to work, lock up when I get to work, and then carry again when I get off. For anyone that does this, do you wear your holster during the day with nothing in it or take it off? I do both but mostly b/c I was trying to break in my MTAC. Just curious if anyone wears a naked holster when they can't carry.

    I cant carry at work.
You may not like guns. You may choose not to own one. That is your right.
You might not believe in God. That is your choice.
However, if someone breaks into your home at 3AM the first two things you are going to do are:
    1) Call someone with a gun.
2)Pray they get there in time." - A wise man

No I take the holster off. I don't want to freak anyone if they caught a peek at the holster. I park on the street and walk onto property. Security has stated that out of sight is out of mind, no matter what company policy is, but I don't want to risk it.

I don't carry to work or at work. I don't trust the parking garage enough to even leave my firearm locked up in a small cable secured safe.

I usually just carry my Benchmade and Cold Steel Mini-Pal and hope for the best.

    Holster off, with the gun...

I've heard you aren't suppose to wear crossbreeds/MTAC type holsters without the gun for long periods of time because it can break the Kydex...

I can't carry at work, but I can leave it locked in the car on the property. I cable lock it to the seat frame under the seat with the gun in the holster as far as it will go with the cable lock on it.

I've worn an empty holster once or twice, but since it is a tuckable it was not visible. It would seem a poor idea if it could be seen.

Really? I've done that a few times while working, I guess I'll lock it up in the car too then.

Paddle holster so I can remove it and lock it up. I prefer the have my handguns in holsters when they are not on my body. I like the trigger protection. Can't ND it while reaching for it. I have other toys I carry at work.

I cannot carry at my job, not even have it in the vehicle on the property...state law.
If I could leave it in the car, I would not store it in the vehicle and wear the holster...I would not want to call attention to myself if someone should see the empty holster.OMO

Can't carry while working. I could punch out, rearm, and go back in. I take everything related off and keep it in my truck.

holster comes off with the gun. Lock the whole deal up.
There is something about firing 4,200 thirty millimeter rounds/min that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

The 23 gets locked up in the car and i just leave the holster in place. It's easier that way b/c if i run out for lunch or something it's easy to re-arm. If anyone here saw it, i would just tell them it's a fancy cell phone holder and they would probably believe it.
