    I got my permit!

When I picked up my mail today, I was totally shocked to see that my Concealed Carry Permit was here! Especially considering that it's been just under 3 weeks since I mailed in my application. I'm impressed!

And here I figured that I would have had more time to break in my new Crossbreed holster before it was time to carry it.

Just wanted to share that with somebody. Especially since it's not the kind of "good news" that you call everyone to tell them about.

    Thank you

    Congratulations and safe travels!

    What are you carrying?

It is an amazing turn around time! I was told to expect to wait about 6 months.

9MMare, I'm carrying a Glock 27. But now that I am allowed to carry, I plan on expanding my collection. I would really like to pick up a P7 and a 1911. I like to have options!

Good for you. What caliber is the G 27? I know it's not one of the 9mms.
