Yes, but make sure that it fits your magazine. There are different models. I have 2. both made by Lula. one fits the ar-15, the other, the Glocks, and Nano, (but it would not fit a friends magazine).
Yes, another vote for them - they're great. Only reason I don't use it ALL the time is cause most of the time at the range I'm only loading 3-5 rounds in a mag at a time, plus I still like to load by hands sometimes too. But ya, if your loading mags all the way up, the uplula can't be beat.
Just before a big storm people will be buying Bread, Milk and Uplula. I have an Uplula and really like it but, I find the paper much more comfortable..
I got mine two Uplulas for the two main magazine calibers I use. The both work great. Much faster to load and easier. Only thing I don't like is the $30 price tag on these plastic items. There is a huge margin on them. I got mine for $5 a piece though
Nice thing about the pistol model Uplula is you can use with many different brand mags or type mags. The rifle models are specific to the mag so you need to purchase one for the ar one for the M1a, one for the ak .......
They get expensive, especially with today's ammo prices. You can load so much faster than without one, it becomes very easy to shoot more.
I remember the first time taking mine out, I realized that I had loaded, fired the whole magazine, and reloaded while the guy next to me was still loading his first magazine.
I just use the simple (no moving parts) loading adapter that come with my GLOCK. Helps a lot. I've never used one of the uplula style loaders.
