wolf ammo in a glock 27
Since there is case swelling due to a portion of the case being unsupported in this gun, is there a problem with the steel case ammo? Or is it actually better to use? I'm somewhat concerned that it may be more brittle and prone to blowing out where it's not supported.
The reason I'd use it is since it's not advised to reload ammo thats been stretched like that, with the steel stuff..just shoot it and leave it. And then only for practice.
Any thoughts?

I've had no problems shooting it out of my G23, however it is very dirty ammo. If you are buying bulk which Wolf usually is. Check out Ammotogo.com they have some good stuff for .40 Cal that is better than Wolf. I'm sure it should shoot it just fine, but I would check around for something better, shouldn't be to much more.

I would advise against using steel cased ammo in a Glock...it puts undue strain on the exactractor and causes excessive wear.OMOYMV

Is the strain actually due to it being steel cased, or that it may be sticking in the chamber due to the coating on it? I've read here that the coating was changed to prevent that awhile ago, but I don't know this for sure.
Skysoldier, thanks for the info on the other ammo, I'll check it out.
