One would never know that there was any kind of ammo shortage watching this. Some really neato classic guns feature on this clip. Sad to see some of the oldies being mistreated with the extended bursts.

What I would give to trade in my Saturday trips to Home Depot & Bed, Bath, & Beyond for a few minutes of trigger time with those guys.

10:07 film. 600 minutes. 600 rds/min avg rate of fire. Perhaps ~$0.50 per bullet, considering some very large and expensive rounds as well as lots of cheap "surplus" stuff. That's an estimated ~360,000 rds and ~$180K in ammo fired, in just 10mins (filmed).
Got to love it.

God bless America!
Loved the twin Browning M2s
There is something about firing 4,200 thirty millimeter rounds/min that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Didn't see the clip. Takes too long on my connection to load. I can only imagine though. As Ted Nugent would say, "Can't do this in France, baby".

"I didn't see any abuse, just a bunch of folks having a blast!"
Check out the length of some of the bursts fired. Just "sawing away" like that is hard on barrels and isn't really the way to do machine guns.
Of course it's their guns and their money.

That is wicked awesome. I couldn't help but think what it would be like to have been one of our boy in WWII running up a beach with a bunch of Mg's plugging away at you. esspecially when they showed the downrange view with hundreds of bullets kicking up the dust.

Nothing like a little American fire power, you have just seen one of the reasons why no one has invaded the US.
