    Federal Ammo

Went by Walmart last night and they actually had some 9mm ammo in stock. I bought a box of Federal... Is this stuff any good? I'm just going to use it for range ammo. I've got some different stuff for home defense. It was only 10.04 with tax...

Runs through My GLOCK 19 just as good as WWB or UMC. I'll buy more when I get the chance.

No complaints here. I like the Federal stuff for both my 9 and 45. Usually about $3 cheaper than the Remington UMC per 50. I've been checking Walmart about once a week for ammo and have been able to get a little stack going...picked up 4 -50rd boxes of Federal .45 for $67 last Friday. I trust it more than the WWB....however it's tough to beat the 100 rd box for $22 here. Sounds like you got a good price...it's about $2 more per 50 for the 9mm Federal stuff at our WW.

    Love the Federal ammo!

The spent casings make great reloads also... keep your brass!

That is all I shoot out of my .40. Never had one malfunction. It is $2-$3 cheaper as well.

All the Federal ammo that I have shot has been top of the line!!

I have about 8K of Federal ammo in various calibers from .22 LR to .40 S&W HydraSkok and .308 - and several others in between.

    It all shoots just fine.

Personally, Federal is superior to WWB and UMC, but they shoot just fine, too.

I've put about 5-600 rounds of that Federal WalMart ammo through my SR9c without a single problem. I love that stuff.

Federal ammo? Good to go. Been using Federal ammo in a lot of my firearms. From the 9mm, to the AR15 for better than ten years.

    Thumbs up Good Stuff

I agree with everyone else. I have been buying it in .40, like it better than the WWB, and it is $3/box cheaper too!

What he said +1. My favorite brass to reload especially the nickel stuff.

I prefer Federal American Eagle to WWB. It's my choice of target ammo when I can get it.

PLUS they're owned by ATK Thiokol who have been producing the shuttle launch rockets for NASA. Shuttle powered ammo!
