9 mm at WM

Wal Mart today had Federal Champion 9mm 115 FMJ for 9.97 per box of 50. I just started buying 9s so I have no idea about the quality but generally Federal is pretty good ammo. Just FYI on some cheap ammo.

I've picked up the Federal 9mm at my local Walmart for $9.47/box. My wife and I have both fired it through my S&W 3913 and her Walther PPS with no problems at all.

I shot 50 rounds thru my brand new Sig 239 not even a hint of a problem. I would keep an eye out for it at that price. Thanks for the feedback.

I prefer the 100ct bulk Winchester myself when it can be found, but actually the Federal (brown box) 50ct is cheaper in the long run by a few cents per hundred. IMO, get whatever you can when it's available. That's a good deal in itself if you've been hunting a while or have gone too long without. My local Wally Worlds have been coming through regularly as of late.

Good stuff for range use, probably would deter an attacker just fine also.
