All that I need.

-Ruger LCR in a DeSantis Nemesis
I keep my ammo stash really simple:
.22 Cal- for conversion kits for 5.56 and .45
.45 Cal, in about 8-10 different flavors, ranging form 185 HB for target to 230+P dorbon DX for EDC
5.56 in 3 weights and bullet configurations.
If that don't stop "them" there's always surrender'NOT'

BTW, there's always a good supply of rocks around here (I live in ROCKLAND County)

At first glance, I thought your list was IDENTICAL to mine. On closer examination, though, I see a few differences:
I don't have any 7mm Mags.
In addition to your list, I do have:
.22 CB Caps (bought to kill possums, but they don't do the job)
.22 WMR (for rifle and pistol)
.44 Special
.44 Mag
7.62 x 39
.30-30
20 ga.
Guess that makes 16. If things go according to plan, I'll be adding 7.5mm Swiss and .308 before too long!
I've tried pretty hard over the years to keep the caliber count down, but it hasn't always worked out.For years, I resisted buying a 9mm, thinking that between the .38/.357's and the .45, I didn't really need one. Years later, I used the same reasoning that with 9mm's and .45's, I really had no use for a .40, so I put off buying one for a long time. That argument didn't stand the test of time, either!
Anyway, they're all fun, and useful, so I have no immediate plans to get rid of anything!
Regards,
Jim
