All that I need.
This is a discussion on The safe is getting crowded with different calibers! within the Defensive Ammunition & Ballistics forums, part of the Defensive Carry Discussions category; 9mm .38 Special 12ga All that I need....
All that I need.
Glock: G22 .40 S&W Smith and Wesson: Model 437 .38 Spl, M&P Shield9 9mm, and Sigma SW9VE 9mm
Pretty short list here
.45 acp for the XD
.38 sp for the LCR
5.56 m855 for the AR-15
and 9mm for my girlfriend's Glock 26
-XD45 Service in a Crossbreed Supertuck
-Ruger LCR in a DeSantis Nemesis
I keep my ammo stash really simple:
.22 Cal- for conversion kits for 5.56 and .45
.45 Cal, in about 8-10 different flavors, ranging form 185 HB for target to 230+P dorbon DX for EDC
5.56 in 3 weights and bullet configurations.
If that don't stop "them" there's always surrender 'NOT'
BTW, there's always a good supply of rocks around here (I live in ROCKLAND County)

I don't have any 7mm Mags.
In addition to your list, I do have:
.22 CB Caps (bought to kill possums, but they don't do the job)
.22 WMR (for rifle and pistol)
7.62 x 39
Guess that makes 16. If things go according to plan, I'll be adding 7.5mm Swiss and .308 before too long!
I've tried pretty hard over the years to keep the caliber count down, but it hasn't always worked out. For years, I resisted buying a 9mm, thinking that between the .38/.357's and the .45, I didn't really need one. Years later, I used the same reasoning that with 9mm's and .45's, I really had no use for a .40, so I put off buying one for a long time. That argument didn't stand the test of time, either!
Anyway, they're all fun, and useful, so I have no immediate plans to get rid of anything!
I hadn't really thought about this before. Let's see what I've got.
One of my rules is no new gauges or calibres. My local gun store knows me well enough that they don't show me anything outside those that I don't already have.
Without further adieu, here's the list.
.308 Russkie (7.62 X 39)
I don't have .40, and I'm not interested in starting into it now.

I thought I had a lot! I have:
I have 5.45x39 and 20 Gauge, but no guns for those calibers. Sold the shotgun, and don't have a 5.45 rifle....yet. Would like to add a .30-06 or .308 at some point.

I'm good on ammo, except 45ACP and 5.56 NATO.
As soon as I get my food storage done, I'll start hitting the ammo real hard.
