Best SD .380 ammo?

Since the .380 rd is relatively anemic with regard to penetration, you may want go with the heavier rounds. The Remington 102 gr hp is pretty good and some guys now just prefer to use fmj for the greater penetration or at least stagger
their magazine with both HP and FMJ>
I have a Colt Mustang .380 and a Kahr P380 and I like them both but only carry them when I'm in shorts or something like that.

I'll burn the Buffalo Bore in my Kahr p380 but afraid to shoot it in my precious Mustang!! too hot. A friend of mine likes the hornady critical defense .380
but hard to get and pricey.

I do the same w/ my .380 sig,stagger FMJ and JHP.I just ordered a springfield XD 9mm subcompact for EDC.The Sig is for hot days w/shorts also!!
