Just bought some Hornady CD ammo and it wont feed in my Kimber (.45) It appears the rubber inserted hollow point sticks on the feed ramp. Has any body else had this problem?

In a gun fight, you can not miss fast enough, to catch up.
I recently purchased them in both .40 and .45. I have shot two boxes of the .40 through a Glock 23 and two boxes of the .45 through a Colt 1911 70 series and have not had any feeding problems at all.
I have had no problems with CD feeding. Is it failing to go into battery?
There is something about firing 4,200 thirty millimeter rounds/min that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
No problems with CD at all through an M&P 9c.

Try some Wilson Combat mags in the Kimbers.
No problem with firing .45 ACP Critical Defense rounds through my XD. I haven't fired any through my M&P, though.

they work great in my UCII, as well as my Kahr PM9, Springer XDm-9 and Springer 1911 ... maybe the ramp needs a touchup, I use really fine sandpaper -- 600 is good -- and a little gun oil to make my ramp shine and ease the slide of the round into the barrel ...

Thanks for reminding all that you can't just pick a round and load it in your gun for SD without confirming reliability. Even if it is a quality premium load from a well known manufacturer in a high quality gun.
