Walmart has discontinued selling ammo (other than shotgun ammo) on Long Island, NY.

Our local WM is always out of the Federal 9mm. When they have it it's 8.97 per box.

My Walmart had my .40 cals in stock and most others. I was surprised they even had .45's Prices were less than anywhere else I checked, even cheaper than online because of the high cost of shipping.

Federal .45 ACP isn't priced too badly either at Wallyworld, only ~$15/box! I was a happy camper when I bought the last box in Gulf Breeze, FL the other night. :P

Still, the only thing at my WW in .45 is the Winchester 230grain hollowpoints, $21 for a box of 20... COME ON PEOPLE... don't you get it? noone wants to buy it, I have been staring at the same 30 boxes for 8 months! PLEASE, PLEASE STOCK SOME FMJ!!!!

WW has at most,a good supply of ammo...they even have PD rounds for 40cal from federal too...

My Wally World is fully stocked to the ceiling. I just bought 1000 rounds of WWB at $22.75 per hundred 9MM FMJ. They had 9MM, 40S&W, 38Spl, .357Mag, .45ACP in FMJ and Federal Social Ammo. I have a class coming up that wants "Quality Ammo" to be used in it. I got it with no limits on what to buy. Way better than earlier than this year with 6 box limits and only 3 boxes on the shelves every 2 weeks.

It's been like that for awhile, unfortunately my local WM has a 2 box limit.
Hooray for having to make 2 trips to get a range days worth of ammo.

Call the WW Corporate headquarters and tell them how there keep you from buying the ammo you like to,and will buy them elsewhere.
I was able to buy 8 box's of federal a few weeks ago..
Oh, dont forget to tell them what WW you goto..:)

That's about the going rate here when I can find it. Per 100rds, a slight bit cheaper than the WWB 100ct going rate.

I talked with the lady at my local walmart. I wasn't able to buy after 10pm but i guess she looked into and revealed to management that it is perfectly legal. She also told me they are getting three shipments of federal a week. I think one case each. Also, she said she would cut me off at 20 boxes.
They are well stocked lately. And i have two different stores within 15 minutes. Not hard to get some around here.
