Buffalo Bore .357 magnum "short barrel" loads?
Is anyone here familiar with these loads from BB? They are supposed to be low recoil/muzzle flash for snubbie .357's. I was considering these for a S&W 340PD and a 640,has anyone shoot these out of either of these guns? If so what was your impression of them?
Snub nose revolvers, the original concealed carry guns.

I carry BB heavy .38 +p 158 grain loads and they're awesome. I'd feel good about any loads from this manufacturer. Kind of expensive but it's worth it for carry.

Just shot some 125 grain 38 special Buffalo Bore..
Just shot some 125 grain 38 special Buffalo Bore into water jugs.
I was amazed at the difference compared to same weight FMJ rounds.
The FMJ rounds made nice clean holes thru 5 water jugs. No real big reaction from the jugs.
On the other hand, the JHP's which I believe Buffalo Bore's site says are indeed Speer, DESTROYED the first jug. It was split from top to bottom and had a major blow out on the back side. The jug flew about a foot in the air and landed two feet from it's original position.
The bullet expanded perfectly, just like you see in all the pictures.
I can just imagine the effect this would have on a living target.
I trust the Buffalo bore rounds to perform when needed and I don't really think they are any more expensive than other SD ammo.
When I get pictures taken I'll post in a new thread here.
My daughter pointed out after we left the range that she had her camera with her, and we could have shot some video. Maybe next time.

I just bought a box of BB .357/low flash/low recoil/short bbl to try out in an SP101 (2.25"bbl). I figured it would be good on the trail and in camp. I'll report back once I've tried em out. Curious to hear others responses as well.
