I was wondering if some of you who are familiar with the different types of ammunitions and designation compose a post explaining such information (perhaps make it a sticky) so that those of us who are trying to learn can do so? This would be a great service to those of us who don't know, but may not be willing to clutter up the board with such "beginner" questions.

Sorry about that. Pistol or revolver ammo. There are lots of designation such as +p or +p+ that I don't quite understand and would like somewhat of a guide so that when looking, I know what I'm looking at.
